3.6 mln sq m of housing commissioned in Kazakhstan in 2011

Astana, October 8, 2011. The Government of Kazakhstan is implementing the Housing Construction Program that provides construction and commissioning 6 mln sq m of housing annually. 3.6 mln sq m of housing was put into service in 8 months of 2011, the press service of the Agency for Construction, Housing and Utilities reported.

“1.25 million square meters of housing will be put into service in Astana this year”, Astana Akim Imangali Tasmagambetov announced at the sitting of the Public Committee for control over Astana urban development. “The large investment projects to be put into operation include 30000-seat roofed football stadium and national meteorology center till May 30 and rubbish recycling plant till July 6”, Tasmagambetov said
